Worry and shame could all be gone.
I could be confident enough;
Tasting the true flavour of life again.
Confidently along the corridors I could walk,
Minding not of their murmurs.
Knowing it's exactly not of me they talk.
Behind it, I guess I could really be safer;
Again, no one could ever judge me.
I could never be shaken by their laughter.
Behind it, I guess I could really be safer;
Again, I could call myself a free man.
If I could bury my face behind another.
I could be confident enough;
Tasting the true flavour of life again.
Confidently along the corridors I could walk,
Minding not of their murmurs.
Knowing it's exactly not of me they talk.
Behind it, I guess I could really be safer;
Again, no one could ever judge me.
I could never be shaken by their laughter.
Behind it, I guess I could really be safer;
Again, I could call myself a free man.
If I could bury my face behind another.
