It was quite a surprise for most of us by the way the game started, considering how the previous game in this fixture had ended; a ten goals victory to the BAAE with the BDEC scoring only two consolation goals. It was totally different this time around, by the time the quarter of the game was played, it was a one goal lead to the BDEC side which left most of wondering—are we going to witness a plot twist?
The players had to contend with some unfavorable weather conditions, including hot October sun and wind, which made several potential goal scoring opportunities extremely difficult. The heat was so intense that the players required water breaks at regular intervals.
Whether it was because it was a social game or because there was heat, there were some interesting substitutions in this game that piqued my interest. Some players had to be substituted and then reintroduced into the game, and their impact was called into doubt. There was total exhaustion that some of the players would feel as if they had glimpsed heaven's gates when someone took their place—not to mention that one of the BAAE players had started seeing starts just five minutes into the game.

After that, the two teams engaged in a cat-and-mouse game as the BAAE team twice made a comeback to tie the score at two all before the BDEC team made a comeback also to make it three-three. Some of the BDEC players wished the game had ended right after they had equalized because the BAAE scored the game-winning goal in the last seconds to secure a four-three triumph.

That loss , still felt like a victory to the BDEC side considering of how the had been humbled in the very same fixture, although none of them turned up for a group photo after the match—another unusual thing that happened because there wasn't an opportunity for that before kick-off. It was the winning side that pose while chanting songs.
