Chisomo Ponell Bangula is a young Malawian writer and a spoken word artist with her interests in both poetry and short fiction. She developed her passion in literature when she was a little girl around ten years ago. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Gender and Development at Lilongwe University Of Agriculture And Natural Resources
(LUANAR).
"I simply love writing because it gives me life and this form of art has saved me from a lot. When I write I actually feel like the world is listening. So, basically without poetry and my stories I'm nothing. Poetry is my firefly in all this darkness."
