The most waited time had arrived for both those who had missed the last trip and those who had traveled. The CTC students came out in such large numbers and were so excited for the trip, from the newly introduced Yearos to the Mighty Finales—and some from the main campus—that the sports director and the students union were forced to employ another coaster (in addition to the coaster and bus )
We left college in our elite convoy of three, as always chanting along the way. They say lightning never strikes the same area twice, but that wasn't the case this time. As with the Mzimu Ukanyowe summer trip, the journey had some traffic police encounters.

We paid another visit to Chipiku Plus before continuing on to the sporting games; one of the reasons we came here, but to others it was just a waste of time, and an additional sensation of worry because they were delayed in diving into the lake. The games didn't go our way in most — if not all — of the categories, but it wouldn't stop the people from sticking to their plans; it wouldn't stop us from enjoying the moment, because we were there for pleasure nonetheless.
We got at the lake around noon, but unlike the Kabumba beach, it was as quiet as a ghost, thankfully we had taken our own speakers. It was so scorching (not to mention the heat we had received from those games) that everyone wanted to jump into the lake as soon as they could. When we went for a walk, we discovered that the once-lonely beach was suddenly teeming with people from all over—those speakers had worked unfathomable magic.

Even though it was late, everyone wanted to dance until we were exhausted; the beach had turned into a dancefloor, and it felt more like an open air— people yelling, swimming, and some performing acrobatics. Again, like on the previous trip, there was an option for a boat ride; those who had traveled the Kabumba expedition also found it hard to select which was the best of the two. It was certainly a memorable time; an amusing encounter one could possibly have.
